Ok, we throw the words "protective style" around a lot. Can you please list what you consider to be a protective style? Which style do you wear the most during the winter season?

My style of choice is the two strand twist. I also do many variations of this style.

I consider a protective style to be any style that prevents me from handling my hair or exposing to enemies (rough collars, dry air, sweater snags).

I used to love twists but since my hair brushes my showers they did not really do anything to help my ends. Now I love buns and I can tell a difference between having my hair protected vs when it is not protected.

I consider a protective styles as a style that protects my hair. That can be the ends on my edges. The main protective style I've been wearing, since my hair has gotten longer, are buns & ponytails. I also wear sew-in weaves occasionally to give my hair a rest.

Which style do you wear the most during the winter season?
This is my 2nd winter being a good, taking care of my hair right natural. Last winter I wore twist-outs, this winter... still working on the game plan. May continue to wear buns!
