Glycerin and water mixture
I am interested in trying a glycerin mixture to add more moisture to my hair but I have no clue as to how much glycerin vs water to use. Any suggestions?

Re: Glycerin and water mixture
When I mix it, I use about 75% water 25% veggie glycerin. Most naturals wouldnt recommend glycerin use during the colder months. Glycerin draws moisture from the air to your hair. During this time of year, there is not much moisture in the air (depending on where you live). I've read the glycerin will draw moisture from you hair since there isnt moisture in the air. This is my first winter natural so I am only speaking from research not personal experience. I am still using my glycerin mix, just not as much as I did over the summer. I use it maybe twice a week. In the summer months, I used it everyday, twice a day.
