Big Hair?!?! Help..

When I wet and go my hair gets really big. I dont like it at all. Is there a way I can wet and go and cut down on the frizzy curly fro? Right now I just use curl enhancing smoothie by shea moisture. Would some kind of gel help it lay flat? Like maybe KCCC or eco styler gel?

My hair is always big! Sometimes it's ok but other times I'd like my curls a little more tame. I tried KCCC and for the first couple days, my hair was tame and I loved it! I'll repurchase this summer because I'm sticking to creamy stylers during winter.

Your big hair is about the "size" of my tamed hair so if you try KCCC, I'd recommend being light-handed to avoid completely flat hair.
