I'm starting this new blog because I'm at the beginning of my curly journey. Ive been following tutorials and had bad experiences.I'm starting a new, lol. My hair is dry, breaking and doesn't style well. I'm broke so all of these crazy products are nixed nayed. I need shine, strength and growth.. So because this journey is all trail and error, I'm experimenting tonight. I have some kinky curly knot today, some honey and olive oil. I'm going to use this as a dt. I'm going to let it sit for a while then wash. After that and detangling, i have some shea moisture conditioner that i will apply with then try a bantu knot.
Overall this chapter in my life is to change my way of thinking. My mom always applied perms to my head because she said my hair was horrible, while the truth was she doesn't know how to take care of her own hair in its natural state let alone mine. Now I'm a mother, my daughter is give 5 months and her hair is beautiful. Im going to learn my hair for her...nappy is happy.
Lol

The KCKT is designed to be a leave-in, so you may want to try a different conditioner for DT purposes, then follow with the KCKT.

You can always try a conditioner EVOO and honey...
I've this to work very well. DivaDreamgirl is correct KCKT is a leave-in.
Good Luck and Welcome to CS
