Re: Best Leave in conditioner!
I've been using Trader Joes Nourish Spa Conditioner and then I'll add some coconut oil on top. I think my hair seems to be liking it... and the trader joes is less than $3!

Re: Best Leave in conditioner!
I hear you on Taliah Waajid's products Blondie! I do the same thing and those are the only ones i use as well. I wonder how product lines can claim to be all natural knowing they aren't! She may not have any parabens, but there are sure other unnatural things inside! I love the KC Knot Today for my daughter and son's hair, i only tried it once when i attempted the Kinky Curly. Has anyone had much luck with that product?? I use to use Giovanni, but it is not all natural either. I am still tempted to try the Direct Leave-in though, i used it when i had a twa.

When I flat iron, I have been using the Neutrogena Triple Moisture Leave-in. It doesn't weigh my hair down.
Others on my list to try:
Herbal Essence: Long Term Relationship and the None of Your Frizziness
I would pass on None of Your Frizziness. It smells great, but doesnt work well and I believe has several cones. Its my least fav HE product.

Hello every one. Been lurking for a minute, finally decided to post.
Anywho I've had great sucess with KCCC and KCKT. The key for me was applying it in small sections. I use about a quarter sized amount of KCKt followed by a nickle sized amount of KCCC to each section. perfect curls every time.
However, this week I decided to use KCKt by itself, no KCCC, and I had just as good results. The only difference was more shrinkage on my 1st day hair, but no crunch. My 2nd day hair looks great (I apply shea butter and put hair into 4 twists before bed).
I also like Giovanni Direct Leave-In but I find my hair responds to it better on the days I low-poo. It can be a little finicky on my co-wash days.

My favorite Leave- In conditioner is Garnier Fructis Leave-In I love it!
Re: Best Leave in conditioner!
I use Wonder 8 oil (yes it has mineral oil in it-so anyone not wanting to use this, this is not a product for you. I use it every so ofter not like I did when I big chopped) or Taliah Waajid Protective Mist Bodifier (my new favorite). I am looking for Giovanni's Direct Leave-In (wally's world do not carry it in my area).

I like to use rinse out conditioners and deep conditioners as leave ins. Has always done wonders for me.

Re: Best Leave in conditioner!
I've been faithfully using my own mixture of glycerin and aloe vera juice or gel under everything I use on my hair. I tried not to use it once and my hair was so dry. My hair loves more glycerin than aloe vera so its about 75% glycerin to 25% aloe.

Re: Best Leave in conditioner!
I would say any of these are probably good for extremely dry hair especially if you mix them with and organic and/or unrefined oil such as coconut, jojoba, olive ect.Reechi3457 wrote:Are any of these leave-ins good for extremely dry hair?
Personally I mix my knot today with unrefined & organic coconut oil for myself and my son who has extremely dry hair and scalp due to eczema.

Thanks Mz Thang - I do always look where the other shampoos are. I'll check it out tomorrow! I found the gift sets on an end cap but not in the individual bottles.
