Hi fellow naturals! I was just wondering if there were any other naturals here who are in the military willing to give me some ideas on protective styles that are within military regs. Those of us who are on active duty face a different challenge with protecting our hair. Im in the navy and about to go on deployment, so Im worried (about all things) what I will do with my hair when it gets longer. Thanks, and keep me posted!

As a retired military, Air Force, person, a lot of the twist updos can work. I think Navy's rules are pretty much the same as the Air Force, off the collar, etc., Lynnieluv does lots of styles that are nice and well within regulations. Hope you find something.....and hope that helps...

@Missycee- Thanks so much! I just want to avoid hearing my hair looks fadish. Lynnieluv?... Could you explain? Is this a member on the form? I feel so slow, lol.

Oh yes, go to the Curl Street Journal. She has a very extensive journal. And....she likes doing twist updos.
