Yall wont believe this but guess what- my henna didn't dye my grey! I didn't think it would - now here I sit with the grit/crumbs of it left in my head!

Thanks Chrs, I will take you up on that. My daughter's basketball season has just started so, I will work around that. It would be great to sit and release to somebody cool!!! And get tips.....

Nyla, why type of henna you using? I've bought mine at a beauty suppoly store and it works, but I have yet to try to Jamila as recommended. I;m hoping to get a darker color. My hair is that sandy looking like it's always dry hair. It's just sooooo cold, I wanna go out. Maybe one day this week.

I just ordered some Frank Juice, and a heat cap from Curlmart. Are they pretty alright with shipping and all?

Missy- I used some old henna that I had in here! I guess I will be going to buy some new henna. I use whatever the Indian grocery has on sale!
I gave it time to release - however it turned black- I think i used too much coffee! UGGGHH!!! My roots are grey!! What the What???

I think- scratch that I know Nyla loves chunky twist outs. The only thing is you cant wear the chunky twist outs(outside the house) like you can the mini twists.

Oooh, I feel like I'm dippin', but 32 is not too young. They're never too young, unless it's my son. LOL. I swear my next man is going to be at least ten years younger than me. Did 10 years older for 13 years. Time to go the other way. Yep, there's a cougar in the house.

I have a question here ladies Im getting my ends trimmed in the am & have not washed my hair in almost 2 wks I am just wondering if I should wash hair or not Havent had ends trimmed in 7 1/2 months or should i do a good deep condition treament

Sebastian: Welcome to the thread. Perhaps someone else will chime in about the trim. I trim my own ends- bad experience with stylists(is probably one of the reasons I am natural). I wash my hair every week and try to dc after washing.

The party was great!!! And I ran into several naturals, one who was getting coils at a salon I was thinking of trying in Laurel. Her hair looked fab!!! She said they would last a week. Makes me wanna try themmmmm...
