I have been natural for two years and decided for the holidays to see what it looked like flat ironed and desperately need a trim. Sooo i wnt to the dominicans and got a flat iron and a trim. It lasted for a few days and I decided to go back to my single strand twist. Well a portion of my hair won't curl back. i don't know what to do? Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

Have you tried deep conditioning your hair? This has happened to a few curlies on this forum. They wash and deep conditioned their several times and their hair reverted back. Check out this video.

I read to also do a protein treatment followed by constant DC treatments for several weeks

I just purchased the ApHogee protein treatment today. I will try it tonight. I pray for good results. All the work I put into my head to end up with heat damage!!!

Remember use a moisturizing conditioner after ApHogee. You're gonna have to DC constantly for a while.
