Aloe Vera Juice Mixes Empty Aloe Vera Juice Mixes

Post by MsKayDee 25th December 2010, 1:30 am

I just tried a mix 80% water, 15% aloe vera juice and 5% extra virgin olive oil and my hair loves it! Originally I was using a mix of 90% water and 10% Knot Today Leave in conditioner which was good--but the aloe vera juice mix is excellent! It definitely leaves my hair soft. I seal with a mix of Darcy's Botanical's Peach Kernel Hydrating Milk (love the smell of it...definitely needed since aloe vera juice's smell is not that great) mixed and rubbed in my hands with a dollop of extra virgin olive oil.

What does your mixture consist of?

I am going to try. It sound similar to a sample I received over the summer. That stuff was the truth. I have tried to mix my own with good success. I want to see how this mix works.

The aloe vera juice I bought says you have to refrigerate after opening...does that mean I have to refrigerate my spritz as well?

@ Vanisia3G, it is best to keep it refrigerated. Otherwise you'll get little beasties growing in your mix. Make small amounts at a time. What else is in your mix?

Nothing yet...in my previous mix I used castor oil, jojoba oil, vegetable glycerin and water. I thought I would try aloe vera this time around, but I am still not sure what I should put in it.
