Re: Witch Hazel ?
I used it a few years ago, it didn't do anything super awesome. My experience was bad but it was almost like I didn't have an experience
Re: Witch Hazel ?
I used it way back when too. My skin after awhile became sensitive to it. So I stopped.
I love Neutrogena alcohol free astringent. It cleans and is refreshing, and actually moisturizes at the same time.

My dermatologist actually recommended me using this, instead of the expensive stuff I was using. It has only been a week. I'll let you know if I see a change.

I use Thayer's witch hazel and I love it. I get this one from Vitacost. It's only $6.25 and it lasts forever. It's alcohol free and contains aloe vera, glycerin, and rosewater, so it's lightly moisturizing but not too heavy for my combination skin. It's a big bottle, so it lasts for a while.

I agree with Moni. I really like Thayers witch hazel with rose and aloe vera. I've heard that witch hazel by itself can be irritating but, this product has a nice refreshing balance.

Re: Witch Hazel ?
No, I don't actually wash my face with Witch Hazel. I use it as a toner after washing and before moisterizer. The Witch Hazel removes excess makeup and rebalances my skin which usually feels really tight after washing.

@coilykinks- idk if you've already found the product Moni was talking about but I use the same one (and love it). I purchased mine from Whole Foods. I'm not sure of the exact price though.
