Honey....I need VOLUME!

Hi CNers!

My name is Artavia'Nicole & my hair is the epitome of kinky curliness. Hehe.

I've been TRULY natural and knowledgable for about 3 years. I havent had a relaxer since 2005 though.

Although I know my hair, well at least I thought I did, I always run into the same problems. I can't get my hair to grow pass the top of my bra!.. and when it does grow in legnth, it doesnt grow in thickness!

I REALLY WANT THICKNESS!

So I guess my main question is; how do i get my hair THICKER?

I'm begging you intelligent women and men to help me out on my neverending hair journey!

There's temporary fixes, but nothing permanent. HTH

You could also give yourself henna treatments. It has helped me a lot.

For big hair and lots of volume, I dont do many flat twists. Flat twisting, for me, defines and flattens my hair, so I typically do 6-8 plaits around my head and when i take them out I seperate them with oil, after about a day or two the volume just keeps coming As you can tell in my avi I LOVE big hair as well! Hope this helps

I second the henna recommendation. It has helped me a lot.
