Henna basics
Here is a link I finally got around to reading. I think there is some good basic info here. I have found it correlates to information I have been getting from some Indian ladies I have been talking to in preparation for my first henna. Maybe other first time Henna users like me might find something of value here.

Re: Henna basics
Hi naturalnolagirl1900!
That ebook does give some good tips. My only caution is not to use lemon juice. Lemon juice is around pH 2, which is too far outside of our hair's natural pH range. Your hair might end up brittle and dry. I think orange juice or aloe vera juice work best. HTH Have fun henna'ing!
