What is the best Conditioner out there for 4B and 4C types of hair
Since My hair is extremely thick it requires more mositurizer!!!!!! So right now I used Sheabutter Cantu shampoo and olive oil conditioner but I feel my hair requires more. I also use cantu leave in conditoner but my hair feels dry after the leave in conditoner is dried out...
But for the most part I absolutely LOVE MY HAIR AND ITS CURLS
So ladies if you have any advice please post your comments

I don't think I know what the ABSOLUTE BEST conditioner for our hair type is, but I would suggest Aussie Moist, Hello Hydration and Tresemme Moisture Rich conditioner (the silicone free one). I recently started using Aussie Moist and my hair stays moisturized and soft days after I've washed it, which has never happened before.
Also do you clarify your hair? I find that when I use most conditioners/products with silicones I have to clarify in order for my hair to retain any moisture.

Thanks Ladies for your advice;) To Ms.Fenty since I'm a newbie at this what do mean clarify? Is it bad to use products that have silicone? What else should I stay away from?

I second the Yes to Cucumbers or Yes to Tomatoes since I use both condish's (great for detangling) and very moisturizing). I also use them as my deep treatments weekly since they don't contain protein (even though I'm not protein sensitive). Before adding the condish to my hair I add my castor oil, rosemary oil, jojoba oil, tea trea, w/ peppermint oil mix to my scalp using the Roots Only applicator and some mix to hair in sections (4) while adding the above condish. I let the condish sit for 30min to an hour if doing other things and rinse. I have nice moisturized hair(very soft hair). HTH

I don't think you have to stay away from silicones, its just that they often cause build up (as do other products) so its a good idea to clarify your hair, which just means that you wash your hair with a shampoo that says clarifying or chelating in order to get all the product residue off of your hair (about once a month or more). And one of the benefits is that your hair will be able to retain moisture. Some women avoid silicones altogether in order to avoid the build up they can cause. I only recently began to incorporate some products w/silicones into my regimen and my hair seems to be doing fine, I just have to clarify more often. HTH
Also, there are a few product ingredients that most women on any type of healthy hair journey (relaxed or natural) try to avoid including sulfates, mineral oil, petrolatum oil, drying alcohols (cetyl and stearly and a few others are ok) and I'm sure there are more. But I think it really depends on your own experience, there are some women who use products with these ingredients in their hair and they're fine but I have had negative experiences with them. So it's all relative, I guess, and I think trial and error are key.

I agree with the no 'cones and sulfates part because sulfates really dry out our hair. You cud also give Suave Naturals Coconut Conditioner a try.I also have 4b hair and its makes my hair really soft. And if i may make a suggestion, you can try a pre-poo prior to shampooing your hair.It makes your hair really soft and moisturized and prepares your hair for the harsh shampoos and also cuts down on detangling time.

I'm still transitioning (almost 11 months) but I've had luck w/ the Tresseme naturals conditioner that a few of the ladies mentioned, Aubrey Organics White Camilia,as a deep conditioner, and even the Suave Coconut as well. For me the key is doing a prepoo w/ oils and letting the conditioner sit for a while. The Aubrey Organics conditioners instruct you to apply it to dry hair and then shampoo & condition - I also add EVOO. I didn't think it would work, but for me it actually does! I finger comb and by the time I grab my comb to really begin detangling it's soo easy for me to comb though.
