How do I revive my Bantu Knot Out style?
I took my braids out yesterday, which took all of 8 hours, and decided to do a bko style today. After washing, detangling, and DC, I styled my hair in bantu knots. I sat under the dryer two hours and my hair was still not completely dry! I decided to take the bantu knots out anyway because my husband and I had plans for the night. For the most part I like the style, but since it didn't dry all the way, it's a little frizzy in spots. I've also been touching my hair a lot. I know, I know...but my hair has been in braids for the last six weeks; It feels good to touch it.
So my question is...how do I revive this style? I don't want to go to church tomorrow looking like a poodle.

Well when I do my bantu knot out I make sure that I do them on the smaller side, that way I have more curls and less frizz from seperating pieces.

I wash and condition my hair that night and then put in my optimum oil therapy and then bantu knot. I cover with my satin cap and when I wake up in the morning it's usually dry, but sometime it needs a little longer (rarely though) make sure you don't do it to tight around your edges. In the morning I put a little oil on my fingers and take out each knot, seperate a few pieces to cover up holes and massage the head to cover up spaces as well. I do not comb through my hair just kinda massage and pull a bit. Here's a pic I did wth cornrows in the front. I hope this helps

Your BTKO is gorgeous. Next time I'll do smaller knots for a fuller look. All in all the style lasted for three days. My hair started out "decent" looking this morning after re-knotting last night. However, it couldn't hold up in the Florida humidity (it's still 80 degrees here), so my hair ended up in a bun by the afternoon.
Thanks for the advice.
