How do you detangle your TWA? Or is there even a need to?

Re: Detangling a TWA
I detangled for the first time last weekend. I sprayed my hair with water and oil, then added some conditioner and then sprayed again and detangled with a wide tooth comb. I'm starting to get some length now, so I figured I should start detangling. Before now, I never saw the need to.
Re: Detangling a TWA
I was always able to detangle while washing/cowashing right in the shower. I didn't consider it actual detangling because I didn't have enough hair for it to matter. Not until it grew out to about 2 inches did I really consider myself detangling. A really good conditioner as part of your wash/cowash routine may be all you need. Have you tried that yet? I mean are you experiencing any tangles that are bothering you? I was just doing a wash n' go with my TWA (still am), so I never encountered a problem with tangles until months later.

I would suggest letting water run through it and then adding conditioner, as much as you need to feel the slip. Then use your fingers to comb through. Follow up with a wide toothed comb, if your hair is long enough.
As my hair grows I have been using a denman brush. I know there are some who don't like it but, I am a true fan of the denman. My bc was in July10
