Henna for kids? Empty Henna for kids?

Post by curlyjannah 10th October 2010, 4:41 pm

My 4 year old daughter has very fine/thin 3c, 4a type hair/curls. I would like to help strenghten it more. How young is too young to henna? Her hair is damaged from not knowing how to care for her hair. My fault all the way.

So can I use henna on her hair?

I've wondered this as well. I have used rhassoul clay on my 7 year old and loved the results. Her hair was very soft and easy to detangle and her curls were more defined. I've thought about using henna but didn't know if she was old enough for that. Hopefully someone who has actually used henna on a child will chime in.

My daughter's hair, you can see the picture when you click on the link (my blog), has lighter colored ends, like a light brown/reddish. and the hair closer to the roots are darker, do you think this will color her hair more even? I don't care really about coloring it, but I'm worried her ends will end up more red.
