Yes To Carrots Daily Conditioner

I had a PJ relapse this weekend and purchased YTC conditioner b/c it was on sale and the ingredients were pretty fab, minus the dimethicone that was close to the bottom of the list.

Have any of you used this? What was your experience like and how did you use it (i.e. co-wash, leave-in, DC)?

I think i'll probably use it to co-wash with tomorrow.

I would like to know, as well. I saw this product at Target over the weekend and thought to self to find reviews on it before I purchase. It was tempting, though! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

So I used the YTC condish as a co-wash and leave-in/styler. The consistency is really nice. Very creamy and rich and has decent slip but not enough for me to use as a detangler on freshly shampooed hair. My hair felt great after the co-wash so I would definitely use it for those purposes again. As for using it as a leave-in...not so much. It felt great going in but once my hair dried completely it felt slightly dry and just not as moisturized as it normally does.

Overall I give this product a B+. I probably won't repurchase this once I'm finished the bottle b/c these days I like conditioners that can do multiple things and I already have a few that get the job done. So while this is a nice product it didn't give me everything that I needed or was looking for.

I'm still tempted to try the Deep conditioning mask from this line but I'm gonna try and hold off b/c I have enough DC's to get through in my stash!

I used it as a DC... and it was fine... although my hair has like 60 day periods where it is CONE friendly... and shortly after I had to stop cuz my curls started getting frizzy and fro-ish.

i have heard rave reviews on the DC from this line so i do plan on tryin it! i DC once a week so im on the hunt for good DC's! im so stocked up on condish's its crazy! and i want to try organix shea poo and cond at that!

I have been curious about Yes to Carrots also. I may have to give it a try as well.

This leaves my hair very soft.

Walmart or Price Chopper does not have this, unfortunately. So, the only store you saw it in was Target?

I have a bottle now. I can't wait to try it!

hey yall i got the YTC hair mask for DC, it comes n a jar for about $13. the first thing i noticed was an expiration date so its only good for about 5 months. i used it after i poo'd and left it on there longer than the 15 min it stated (i dnt play by the rules, lol). i give it a B+ also. it wasnt bad but it wasnt a WOOOOOW!! im looking for a WOW DC!
