Re: Protective Styling...to GROW IT OUT
You hair is always growing however taking pics everyday may not be the best way to stay encouraged. Your hair will likely not show over night progress. You may find it beneficial to check monthly instead.
Also, while twists are a protective style make sure you are keeping your ends protected. Keep them moisturized and keep them from rubbing against your clothes and other harsh elements.

I stay encouraged my looking at your pics My daily pics are just a personal documentary of my journey. What styles helped you retain length, I love your hair!!

Im flattered! Thanks
Honestly, last winter I bunned 6 days a week and my hair thrived from it. I am convinced it was the result of keeping my ends up and moisturized. I know my hair was growing because I was dying it for years and the dye would grow out but the length would stay the same. Right now I am just at BSL and this is the longest I have ever been. Last year this time I was barely at APL. I am going more for volume and not length because I love big hair - I am actually planning a cut for this coming up Fall season.
I think I have every week documented on my blog of everything I did last winter.
