I am currently on book 3. I wish HBO had the TV series on demand. Any other curlies seen the show or read the book?

I heard about it but never checked it out....I will now!

I read the first book and I have seen the series I must say both are pretty good. The book is very interesting and on the show Jill Scott does an amazing job of portraying the main character.

I saw it on HBO, LOVED IT!

I love this book collection... and the show of course!!!

This may sound like a dumb question but what is the book about? It seems like something I may be interested in.

It is about a woman from Botswana becoming the first lady detective.

I saw the series on HBO, and I thought it was great. They're supposed to be shooting more. For those of you who've read the book, is the book better?

I have read all the books and it was on here in the UK on BBC. The books are much better, simply because the tv series can't ut eveything in, although they did a pretty good job. Brilliant series and really easy to read.

I read the first one in the series. I really enjoyed it.

I get the show from Netflix and to me it is kinda slow. I mean the show is cute but...slow and something about their accents bother me...idk I have all of the first season in my que and I am hoping that it gets better. My husband watched it with me and he said the same thing about it being slow but he did make a good point. I love FRIENDS and he reminded me that I thought that series was slow in the beginning too.
