Tips on straightening hair Empty Tips on straightening hair

Hey everyone. Ok, I have been trying to think of ways that I am going to straighten my hair for a length check and also so I can dust of my ends. My three month naturalversary post my big chop will be september 3rd and I wanted to have it straightened to see how much it grew.

I know I want to do a roller set and then wrap my hair up with seram wrap while under a hooded drier. My only dilema is what products should I use in my hair to set it for the roller set and what should I do to my hair to prepare it for straightening (deep condition, shampoo, etc). The products I currently have are Cantu Shea Butter, B&B Oil Mosturizer with Castor Oil and Aloe Vera, Lustasilk Olive Oil chelestorol, Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Conditioner, and Herbal Essences Hydralicious conditioner, and some other stuff that I can't name lol. It would be great if you all would lend me some advice because I am not trying to lose my curls.

P.s. I am doing a play September 11th and am required to wear a hat and I didn't want to smush my afro with it lol.

Thanks.
