Oh, well like me break down and buy some DB DC asap.

So, Sweet you are saying that you didn't have to use a leave-in and you didn't use a styling agent to twist? No butters?

How long did you keep the DB on your hair?

What else is good in the DB line?

Hey Sweet,

That DB DC will get ya everytime. You know I'm hooked. So did you twist with the Curl Styling Gel or the Curl Leave-In. I got confused from your other post on my review. Tell us what you did exactly!

After I read your post I retwisted with the all the products, the daily leave-in, the new curl cream gel and the new curl leave-in. Used different parts on different parts of my head, but also used the styling gel and curl leave-in together for some of it. Girl, my hair looks so good. I mean, good. I'm going to wash it tonight and DC and retwist on a fresh head and take pictures for my journal, but in the meantime, tell us what else you did. Smile

BTW - I'm with Lynn - looks like 4a hair to me, but Coily is a good type.

Good morning!

thank you all for the comments. Now let me try to answer you all. BBD no I didn't use a leave in, but I did use the sample that came with it the Curl styling Cream when I twisted. (this should answer you too Renny) My hair is sooo soft and stretched. Now keep in mind it was damp when I twisted and all of you that have watched Sasha grow are very aware of what happens to my curls when water is near!

Now what did I do exactly! I used trader joe conditioner to detangle. I shampoo'd with bed head moisture maniac shampoo..was all I had in the house. I sectioned in aprox 8 large twists. I then took each section down and applied the DB DC. When my entire head was complete I put on a plastic bag and sat for 30 mins. When I rinsed my hair was soft, moist, shiny and defined, so I decided to not add a leave in...it didn't look or feel like it was required. I plopped for like 15 mins to capture some of the water and then I applied the Curl Stlying Cream (the little sample wasn't a tremendous amount, so I don't know that is mattered) I put this all over my head and then I twisted in medium sized twists. As you already know I was/am extremely pleased with the results!

I was just on the site and it says she is closed until Sunday. Sooooo I guess I will wait until I get anything else. I have to check with Chrs to see what else is good! Please chime in if you have anything else by them. Thanks!

Post by Renny 10th December 2010, 1:53 pm

I've been staring at my hair all morning and trying not to touch it. I have to say, the hair with the Curl Styling Gel looks the best. It's actually a wee bit softer than the rest of it (the one that just has the DB Daily Leave-in), but it all looks great. I'm definitely going to wash it, use my DB DC and twist tonight with the DB curl cream and see what I get. I think I'll do it on dry hair, because my shrink monster is looking stretched and dare I say it's hanging a bit. WTHeck!

I'm looking for frizz control on 2nd and 3rd day hair. That's the big test for my hair. BTW - She is looking for reviews on the curl cream.

Sasha is looking good. I love the headband. You make us naturals proud in the office. I like that silver Christmas tree in the back. Matches your jewerly.

Thanks for the recap. Wow, seriously you didn't have to add any product when you retwisted? That's some serious stuff right there! Sasha looks great, I went to the site too, but Ima have to order more than one thing. I need to see what Chrs recommends as well.

Ain't nothing like a product that performs and does what it says it will do.

Isn't BIG hair the bestest?! Sasha looks beautiful and I'm so glad you found your "holy grail" product! I'm really trying not try new products at the moment, but you've been raving about this DB line and we have pretty similar curl patterns. May need to rethink this....hmmm. Beautiful results, Sweet!!
