Strand type

How can you tell what your strand type is? Is there some kind of easy test you can do?

I like the LOIS system. It's a way more extensive hair typing system than Andre's (if you are familiar with that one) that gets into your hair thickness (like fine to medium to thick) and density, and the list goes on.
