Who's your favorite and why?

When I am looking to be inspired to try new styles on my hair, I check here (of course) but I also go fotki. So my question is who is your favorite person to follow on Fotki and why? Do they have the length you aspire to have? Great twist/twistout? Fabulous wash n gos? Creativity?

I dont want my hair that long but I love to look at her hair. It is thick and absolutely GORGEOUS!!!

How did y'all find these people on Fotki? I'm not familiar with the site.

This may sound like a silly question. But everybody on Fotki is always saying don't steal my pictures. Or look but don't touch. Etc. Etc.

Do people just go around stealing pictures of fotki like that? Or are they just being overly cautious?

^^ I Know some folks dont like their pics taken off their fotki and posted to other sites....I never really thought about posting that to my fotki cuz the pics I post are pics I dont mind folks seeing and I post on other sites as well...but maybe its just a personal preference...idk

@Freetobe I have found people on fotki from other hair forums. People will have a link to their fotki or someone will mention a person and give their name and I will look them up.

Wow, talk about some serious hair porn going on over here! I was at BrwnSkinBeauty's site for the longest time. Her hair is breath takingly gorgeous! Thank you all for sharing.

um after seeing BrwnSkinBeauty's fotki i think that she' my idol...length/thickness/everything...i just made a fotki to personally track my progress along my hair journey, but if i happen to come across someones hair that intrigues me then i add them as a friend but i dont rly know any1 by fotki name



and JnB i think they say dont steal b/c alot of ppl use fotki to store pics for hair forums (not just natural) like blackhairmedia and longhaircare forum, and have been for yrs...but over on those sites it gets really intense lol some of those ladies steal pics and try to say its their hair, or one girl i forgot her name was trying to sell products and taking ppls pics and saying the ppl in the pics were clients/users of the product as like a testimonial...they go in its like a highschool on some of those sites because they get so caught up in who has the best/longest hair/most realistic weave install etc like its a competition...thats why alot of ppl blur their face or dont look into the camera directly or watermark and stuff like that just to avoid all the drama

Oh wow. I didn't kno it was quite that serious. If I gotta do all of that, I'm wary of posting pics there at all! To be honest, Curlynikki is the only forum I use faithfully. I'm a member of the others, but it just seems like alot going on.

yeah, mainly the only ppl who had the issues where members of those forums...i was a member of the others before i found CN but after that it was a wrap i havent logged on over there in months lol everything i need is on this site and the ladies are much more friendlier to everyone here, over there its like the # of posts you have determines ur importance/relevance and they tend to favor ppl with the longest hair or loosest curls.

Misskinkycoily still has to be one of my favorites to date.

Why? because the confidence she displayed in her Fotki pictures from her Big Chop to her I think Bar Strap Length hair was very encouraging for me.. I've showed her fotki to all the women I attempted to convert. The converters have all been impressed.
