Bee Mine Empty Re: Bee Mine

Post by Mom2KurlyT 13th May 2010, 5:52 pm

I have only used it once on my daughters hair last weekend and I liked it. I didn't really care for the smell of the shampoo or the growth oil w/ sulfur. The shampoo lathered up really well with only a quarter sized amount the first time so a little goes a long way. I left the conditioner in for about 20 minutes before I rinsed and it left her hair super soft. I am not a fan of the growth oil, only because of the smell, but it kept her scalp moisturized for about 4 days without a reapplication. I love love love the curly butter! I stretched my daughter's hair with 8 braids overnight and cornrowed the next day using the curly butter and it had a nice hold and a great smell. It wasn't too heavy and I didn't have to use my Eco styler gel with it. I was impressed. I also liked the daily juicy spritz, it smelled nice and gives a great shine. I plan on using it again this weekend. I hope I get similar results. I only ordered the sample sizes so I guess I need to make up my mind pretty soon! Check Nikki's blog out at http://beadsbraidsbeyond.blogspot.com. She reviewed it and she likes it too. HTH!

I ordered the Beemines Curly Butter about 3wks ago tried, it...really didn't work for me. I actually ended up selling it to a local CG, who wanted it. I doubt I will try their products again. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Post by Niqui36 13th May 2010, 7:59 pm

I had to go pull out my arsenal to see what all I have. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Okay, here we go.
Curly Butter - LOVE it! It gives a really good hold on my twists and my twist out lasts a good week.
Balanced Cream Moisturizer - This is an extremely good moisturizer and I love it too, the only thing I don't like is the smell. It's a bit too overpowering for my tastes.
Avocado Balanced Conditioner - Leaves my hair really soft!
Oil Free Serum - Love it! I use it to refresh my twists in the morning. Very moisturizing.
Hair and Scalp Moisturizer - Very moisturizing, but again the smell is overpowering.
Hair Growth Serum Mango Scent - A little goes a long way. I like the scent and it keeps my scalp moisturized. If you use too much though you will feel it running down your neck later.

I've used the Curly butter. I didnt like it at first because I had to use my shea butter mix with it. But I used it this pass weekend after about 4 months of it sitting on the shelf and I have to say I may be reordering it. NikG suggested I purchase the luscious moisturizer to go along with the Curly Butter.

The curly butter gives amazing hold and definition with out being hard and it smells so good.

The curly butter gives really good definition and I love the hair milk because it has a thick consistency and isn't thin like some hair milks are. The customer service is awesome! No long wait for your products and if you have any questions you can email the owner and she will get right back with you.

@jcanalena79--I JUST ordered the balanced cream moisturizer b/c of another post you had on the forum. And I googled it and found many natural ladies who raved about it.

So I'm excited to get it--I made sure to order the sample size in case I don't like it too much for some reason. I'm in search of a good moisturizer for my 4b (I assume) hair--it was really dry this morning and nothing I tried worked well to gain moisture.

I just got my samples in the mail yesterday. So far I've used the shampoo, conditioner, Deja's milk, and Luscious cream moisturizer. I had very high hopes for this line and I'm still not giving up on it, but so far nothing is wowing me yet. I will continue to use them for a while though. I also have the Curly butter in the baby powder scent and it smells so good! I'm going to use the products on my daughter to see how her hair likes them.

I have used the curly butter and it gave my twist great definition. I have the island mango scent and LOVE IT! Hubby said it smelled "eatable". LOL!

I have also used the Deja hair milk and like the way it moisturized. It def will be a product I will buy again.

@GeminiNaps - wow, lol, now I feel like my rep is riding on them working amazingly well for you, lol!! Pls check back with your review!! Just remember that even though it's a creamy moisturizer, you still have to seal it with an oil/butter.

@jcanalena79--I will! Yeah I've realized that "sealing" might have been something I've been needing to do also. The only thing I have around the house right now is EVOO in the kitchen cabinet, so I'm gonna use that until I get some EVCO.

Ok, I really like the curly butter. It gave my daughter's twists a nice shine and lots of hold without being hard, and the scent is a nice added bonus. I really hope she brings the baby powder scent back.

I don't like the shampoo and conditioner at all. They smell weird and are too thin in consistency. The hair milk and Luscious moisturizer are ok.

Okay, I've tried the curly butter and luscious cream moisturizer for the 2nd time and I love it! Bee Mine is official for me. I've never gotten results like this on my DD hair before! Her braids have never been more frizz free!

I give it a thumbs up, too! I'd like to try the Luscious moisturizer with the Curly Butter. My hair shrinks a little when I use the curly butter, but the definition is lovely!

I really wanted to like this line. I had high hopes. I purchased the hair milk and curling butter. These products made my hair so dry. I tried them both separately and together, still no go. It was just crazy. I don’t think I’ve ever tried anything that made my hair this dry. I had to co-wash my hair only after two day because the products were so drying. I will not be using these products again. I mean my hair has been dry before but nothing like this. Bee mine is not for me. I would feel bad about throwing them out, I live in Los Angeles so if anyone wants them let me know.

The new Bee Lovely moisturizing conditioner is available today. It's a rinse out as well as a leave-in conditioner.

I've been using the luscious moisturizer for my cornrows for the past month; I just took them down today and my hair is SUPER soft. My hair has never been this soft so I will be ordering this product again and again. I have finally found something that is GOOD for my hair and also moisturizing and smells great.

I highly recommend this product!

I love your hair justicenga!

I think I'm going to order the Luscious moisturizer in the larger size. I used it and the Deja's Hair Milk on my daughters' cornrows and they look (and smell) wonderful. I love it in the Island Mango scent.

LaToya, I love the island mango scent as well. What is the Deja's Hair Milk like? I'll have to check it out.
