Hair Type

How can I discover my hair type? It is really curly and silky, but think and strong. I try to read the charts, but none of the types seem to describe my hair.

Clarise, I would try NaturallyCurly.com - they have a lot of information and you may find some pics that look similar to your hair. And, I'm not sure how new you are to the natural game, but you could very well have several different "types" of hair on your head.

Thanks for the Info. I have been natural for a while.... 8 months totally natural, last perm was in 2007. Its just that I am now trying to try more styles. I usually just go to the hair dresser and get flat twists...every two weeks . Thanks again!
