I'm kind of sad. The sale is only 15% off. I don't know why I thought it was much more the way it was hyped up. That'll only give 2 or 3 bucks off. Perhaps I won't be purchasing as much as I thought...

Question. I haven't established a good routine with Qhemet but own all of the products. I have 3c-4a hair. Washed, used a little Giovanni leave in and then a BRBC/Honey Balm mix over that, sealed with a little coconut oil. My hair was frizzzzzzzzy but soft, with not much curl definition today.

Any suggestions.
How do you use Qhemet products?

I have a 2-3 inch/3c-4a twa and I use the products for my wash n go. I spray my hair with the Karkady Mist then place a small amount of the AOHC & OHHB in my hand to mix together. I rub the mixture onto my hair and go. My frizz is minimal at best and my curls are great. Oh, I probably co-wash 3 times a week if I'm not swimming. HTH

I was reading another thread where some curlies were talking about it taking forever for them to receive their products. Is it usually that way when there is a sale? Will I have to order this stuff and then forget about it?

I just looked on their store locations and if I like this product as much as I think I will I'm glad to know that I'll be able to get it locally once we move to Atlanta this summer. YES!

I ordered during the Black Friday sale and it did take a while for me to get my products. I think it was a result of them running out of fresh batches. So if its a fresh batch that I'm getting then I'm ok with it taking so long.

I can wait patiently for a fresh batch as well.

Last time I ordered within the first 30 minutes and got my shipment in 7 days. I'm averaging a shipment every 6 months (sales only) and spend around $100 per year...I think it's worth the wait and the price for fresh products that yield consistently great results. Enjoy your Qhemet everyone!

I got my order in just in time I almost forgot! Heavy cream and 2 sample sizes of root butter. Now I need to figure out how to use it for my hair since I'm not a twister.

SisterBoyd, I revisited the heavy cream after trying it a while back and not liking it very much. (I'm a washngoer) This time, I lightly layered it over coconut oil and my hair is the softest it's ever been! the next day or two, I just wet it in the shower and let it air dry. Works well, so far.

That's interesting...how is your hair doing moisture-wise.

I'm still learning to speak my hair's language but I think it's doing well, moisture-wise. But i'm the type who has to/prefers to add water every day.

SisterBoyd - I'm a wash n' go wearer and I use the Karkady Mist along with the Heavy cream and Olive Hydrating Balm. My hair is extremely soft - like a baby's hair and that is no exaggeration. For me, I think the Mist is the trick.
