In DIRE need of a Big Sis in the DMV!
Hey ladies!
So, I realize that this transition will be well worth it, but I could definitely use a guide on my journey. I got my last relaxer in October '09, and had a sew in for about 6 weeks in March/April. I'm about 50% natural with my chin-length hair and do NOT plan to BC. It seems like I have at least 2 textures of hair, and the back is giving me the blues...the sides aren't exactly cooperating either. I've tried twistouts but I come out looking a tangly mess! It doesn't look dry, but it feels dry, rough and clumpy (like if you use the "wrong" shampoo).
I could really use some guidance. I've never been great at styling my hair and until now have been really simple with a wrap or rollerset. Someone with good product knowledge and who can help me jazz it up without looking like a rat's nest is much needed!
TIA
xoxo,
Kellye
