Good Friday Morning Ladies,
I hope all is well with everyone. I'm doing great.
Just one pick of Bella today - I've not been up on my game with photos because I haven't been doing too much with her. This style is so simple and easy to do - I just go with it.
I'll try to capture more shots and post them as well.
I hope everyone have a great weekend.

Well I hope it's not discontinued! Did you have a feeling they were planning on doing it soon? Or has that happened to you before?

Re: BlondeByDesire's Bella - Love Being Natural
Update ... my hair color has been discontinued - I've used this product for the last 12 years ... what shall I do? I can't believe it. The last time I purchased it the girl at Sally's Beauty Supply said it was being discontinued but she seemed skeptical and I really didn't believe her. Then I went to one of those mega BSS store and they had it.
Well now three months later, yesterday I'm off again to another Sally's and it's not there ... no mention of it, no row for it or anything. The woman that worked there didn't have a clue. All she said was she revamped their line.
I'm gonna have to let my hair grow out - because I refuse to cut it. Or find a salon that does professional hair color.

Yeah I was going to say check the manufacturers site and tell them what you are looking for. You may find it that way
Re: BlondeByDesire's Bella - Love Being Natural
Update ... I called Ms. Clairol directly and they do have a replacement for the color I was using. I'm going now to Sally's now to purchase and see if it works. Also they have a website dedicated to how to use new and discontinued products with their recommended replacements.

The replacement worked like a charm - I was scared as all get out when applying, but I took the plunge and just did it. After about 25-30 mins, I could see my color ... the only thing about the new product is that it's a cream form compared to the previous version was liquid. So this makes it hard to squeeze all 2 oz of the product out and mix it with the developer. But I managed.
Will take pics later ...

Re: BlondeByDesire's Bella - Love Being Natural
Good Monday Morning Ladies,
I hope everyone had a great weekend.
So, on Saturday I did my color root touch-up with the new Ms. Clairol formula - results are the same thus far. I was skeptical, but it all worked out. So after apply color to roots only, I let it sit for about 30-40 minutes. Too scared to go any longer, although I could have went lighter. But I stopped at that point. Rinsed, washed 2 x and then proceeded to add DC and detangle in section as I went along and twisted with DC left on. I used AOHSR mixed with honey, textured playground's oil and evoo. I applied to my hair in sections and twisted. I put on plastic cap and the turbie twist on top. I left this in overnight. Late afternoon on Sunday I rinsed and revisted my KBB Hair Milk and KBB Hair Butter. I had not used this in quite some time, I have almost a full jar of the Butter. When I first tried it, I didn't like the results - this had to be back in March after my BC. I used generous amount of Hair Milk like it says on the bottle and then separated in sections and applied the Hair Butter and twisted and sealed with JBCO to my ends.
I must say, I love the results. It even dried overnight and quicker which is rare. This is something that usually don't happen especially since I got a late start yesterday in doing my hair. I made my twists kinda on the large side, but I know I need to make a little smaller. Reason being because of the fluffing and trying to conceal the parts - it caused a little frizz action. I think if a do them a little smaller I can get the look I'm after. Overall - my hair was super defined and very soft.
Also at my length I'm not comfortable with the way it falls in the front - that's why I always use a headband or something. I have to learn how to do twists correctly in front.
So here are some pics:

Sooo pretty, and it's good to hear that this new product still worked for you. If it didn't work, Would you have went for another color after it all grew out? Or same color and different brand?

Thanks, honestly I don't know. I would have let it grow out for as long as I could stand the look - but would have probably eventually went to a professional and got new color.

Your color and that twist out looks great!!! You should try Naptural85's twist technique. I love it because you dont have to separate your twist!!!

Re: BlondeByDesire's Bella - Love Being Natural
ur twist out came out good! i've been holding on to my kbb butter too and i may have only used it...MAYBE 3 times.
for ur front, u may have to just get train ur hair to fall down more in the front since u always wear a headband. just take a section n twist em down and give the headbands a rest cuz ur pics are gorgeous! i actually like the volume lift in the front
