It's my birthday today ... I'm getting old

So the expense of moving to another state isn't cheap. So we won't be doing anything big this year. I think GOD to see another year.

We got our NC licenses and new plates. Registering a vehicle is expensive for two $474 - that's for title, registration and tags. DL lasts eights years here cost $32 and you have to re-take the written portion of the test.

The fair is in one of the county's here and we're going to try and visit. It's here until Sept. 18.

And yes I had to take that darn written test over again. Good thing someone created a "cheat sheet" with the most frequently asked questions on the test - online. My family and I studied that and passed with no problem. Get this, the eye test consists of the road signs . You look thru the eye machine and they have around 15 road/cautionary signs you have to verbally tell the tester what they are.
