Quick fix styles when you have a serious hair fail?

This week has been one serious hair fail. It got really cold here in the Chi, but my hair has never been this dry and has never not responded to anything (DC, shea, coconut, aloe, co-washes). I've just twisted up in two braids and will hope that a stray spark doesn't come flying my way and set my hair on fire.

What are your quick fix styles when nothing seems to work?

Giving it a good clarifcation with a shampoo (pre poo with oil as your hair is very dry) and a very moisturising DC with aloe vera, coconut oil and the works. It's like pressing a reset button.
