Silk Scarves Vs. Cotton

I've been getting really frustrated. I'll braid my hair at night and then tie it down with a silk scarve. Okay, then when I get up in the morning, I take the scarve off and my hair is wet! All of the time. When I tie it down with a cotton scarve it is not wet at all. I don't know what to do. So my question is: "Is it really bad to wear a cotton scarve to bed?"

yup!!! bad to wear cotton scarf. how about a satin pillowcase? or a satin bonnet.

I use a satin bonnet and pillowcase and my hair is dry when I wake up. Not sure how long your hair is but it should work.
