Hair growth and moon phases

Apparently trimming hair on a full moon encourages thicker growth while trimmng on a new moon makes hair grow longer faster. People swore by it back in the day, some still do. Have you heard of this? Tried it?
MY hair is not as full as I would like, so tomorrow night during the full moon I will be clipping a tiny tip from some of my twists. Cross yor fngers for me!

I've heard about this also but not sure how true it is. I may try it one day. I initially wanted to trim my hair during the winter equinox but totally forgot the date and missed my chance.

If you do it please tell us your results, I want to know if it's true

I've also heard of that from an old college buddy. Her mom and grandmother swore by it and the girl had hair down to her waist. That was years ago and I'm still trying to find some evidence or even a calendar that will show exact dates of the Full Moon and New Moon!

I have tried this for years and it does work....my friend and i used to trim each others hair on the new moon (in certain signs) and measure it each month!!! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

I figure, what do I have to loose. If I have to trim my hair, why not use the moon cycle? I think I am gonna schedule my next trim using this method. If any of you other ladies want to try it I found a web site that actually breaks down each month and the best days to do certain things.... so if you are planning a trim or planting a garden, you may want to check it out.
