Ok my fellow South Carolina curlies! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Anyone know of a reputable salon preferably in the upstate area where a curly can get a good hair cut to suite the naturalness of my curls? I have a stylist that I was going to when I was wearing my hair "silkened" (another word for flat ironed) but since I have what I am assuming is heat damage in the front of my head I have decided to search for another stylist that respects the curls if you know what I mean. Help me out if ya can! Thanks everyone!

Hey Rissa Rae- I am from the upstate area- I dont get my hair cut into a STYLE. However, for twists i go to Pat- The name of the Salon- escapes my memory. It is located by Linda Long Travel on Laurens Rd.

July must be a busy month at your house- lol..I am having a pretty good time. I am here taking my aunt to chemo- so alot of my time is spent going to dr appt. However, I do get to squeeze some good stuff in.
Trying to go see Fences with Denzel.

I have gone to see Fela- Jayz and will smith are the producers

LOL yes July is a very busy month around here! But this year I will be sure to be extra careful! LOL [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Sorry about the chemo. My husbands father just passed away from Pancreatic Cancer this past November. But on a lighter note, you are def getting some fun in there! LOL My brother is an English/Theater major and he writes some scripts here and there, I am looking forward to going to the theater with him during his journey!

I hope you have some more fun up there! I'm going to look into that salon when the baby is born I may go get a cut. Need to get rid of these heat damaged ends in the front it is so annoying!
