I did a texturizer in early 09 and ended up perming in June of 09 and started transitioning then.. I recently BC'd.. Where are you from: Originally Long Island, NY but have lived in several other states -- GA -> MO -> NC -> SC -> NV -> NC again -> AL -> and now GA again.

What you do: Stay at home mom (4 kids) & wife but Counselor/Social Services background seeking employment.

How long you've been natural: Since some time in 1996 or 1997 (Sophomore yr in college)

Fav products: So far 100% Coconut Oil - been using for maybe a year or so but other than that I haven't really taken the greatest care of my hair. So recently I bought Cantu Shea Butter Leave-In Conditioning Repair. I like it so far. Giovanni Smooth as Silk shampoo & conditioner. Hot Six oil, Lekair Shea butter cond. mixed w/EVOO and honey for a deep tx.--nice!!

Goals: To grow my hair back to a thick, healthy state. The way it was before it started randomly shedding. My length is good (a little past collar bone) but longer would be cool too).
