Hey,

Has anyone tried the Honey Hemp Conditioner from Oyin Handmade? I just ordered some and I was wondering if it has good hold, I have to go somewhere tomorrow and it is going to rain and the humidity is going to be high. Also has anyone had successful results with this? Thanks!

Check out the Products thread ... I believe it has good reviews. Not sure about the hold.

Hollis I LIVE by Honey Hemp!! It makes my hair OH SO SOFT, and the moisture stays locked in. I also add castor oil, but I LOVE THIS CONDITIONER!!! One thing though... It will take a while to ship due to weather I just looked online to send some home, and due to the snow storms it will take longer than usual.

Once you get it.. You will LOVE IT!!

@BlondeByDesire Thanks! I didn't think to check out the products thread for some reason. Smile

@Ktoliver I got my Honey Hemp and the Juices and Berries as well as shine and define and the burnt sugar pomade. It did take three weeks because of the snow storms. I love the scents but I put a little to much of HHC in my hair because I new it was gonna rain and I was afraid for my hair to frizz up. The hold was really good and I can tell if I use less it will work well so I am going to wash it out and try again on sunday. Have you used the shine and define before?

@Linnieluve did you use the whipped pudding just on your ends to seal or from the roots? I am thinking of ordering that too but my hair is somewhat fine so I don't want to use anything that will weigh it down too much. I think I might try the shine and define with the burnt sugar pomade until I order the whipped pudding though.

I used both from root to tip. Because you have fine hair, I wouldn't suggest using them together. In my opinion, I think the whipped pudding would be good to seal your ends.

I am into smells, hopefully I won't be sitting at work thinking about chocolate all day lol. I used the burnt sugar pomade to braid my sons hair and I could not stop smelling his hair, it smells so good so I could just imagine what the whipped pudding smells like!

I wouldn't say that the Condish has much hold but it detangles well and smells good!

You can also use the whipped pudding for your skin. My family uses it and it is divine, so soft and smells great!

I have just co-washed with the HoneyHemp condish I was going to use my shealoe mixture to twist, But I guess I will try the whipped pudding and shine and define to twist. I have heard good and bad results. I am excited to see the finished product.

I use the Honey Hemp sometimes, but only as a leave in. Conditioner only doesn't work for me....too much frizz. Elasta QP Feels Like Silk is the only thing that gives me hold. Then I can use whatever I grab first to finish styling.

Ok-in my earlier post I said "I co-washed with the HHC." Well, what I meant is that I used the HHC as a leave-in and then I twisted with the pudding and shine and define. And I love the results. Great hold! I think next month these may become my staple products.
