I'm just curious to know why/how did you come to the decision of getting locs. Please share.

I had loc's for 10 years, before I decided to comb them out last month.

When I first decided to grow locs, I had just did a BC. I rocked a TWA for 6 months, but I missed my length and I didn't feel it was growing fast enough for me. So off to a loctician I went. While I had locs, I never dyed my hair and I only used clarifying shampoos and oils. When I took them down, my hair was in pretty good shape for the exception of the split ends.

So is you avatar pic how much length you had when you took them down? What process did you go through to take them down?
