Styles for my hair

Hi,

I have just taken my braids out (last week) after having them in for the past 7 months. Last relax was 29 May 2009. My hair is currently about half natural and half the old relax and is shoulder length.

I have it blow drier & flat irons to get it straight but can't seem to get any inspiration for hairstyles. It should be easy really with my hair straight but I only wear it down or pull it into a pony.

I have a party Saturday night so would like to do SOMETHING with it.

Inspiration/Tips greatly appreciated.
