How do I find out what Type of hair I have

I keep hearing people say they have type 4b/3C ETC..where do I find that out what is 4b, 3c, etc....

Here is a link a page on the naturally curly website that gives an overview to the different hair types. The descriptions are a little confusing to me...They kinda overlap the definitions of 3c and 4a hair but this should help.
