Know Thyself by Naim Akbar

A very deep book that talks about how we have been miseducated. It provides some answers as to how we can begin re-educating ourselves from an African holistic perspective. You ever think about why we are taught that Christopher Colombus found North America first? How could he find something that was already populated by our people? In order to empower themselves they must teach their children and ours that they(the European) are superior.

Its a good read. I'm not done yet but I'd recommend it to others. Hubby read it first.
