Prepoo with BT? Empty Prepoo with BT?

So I've been using Boundless Tresses a little over three or four months now, and I don't really see any significant growth or thickening of my edges. However, I paid over $12 for this oil, so I don't want it to go to waste! So I was thinking of using it for a prepoo treatment. Has anyone done this? Do you think this is a good idea or could it go terribly wrong?

Please advise!
