That kinda comment irritates me to all be damned because hair is hair! All of use have Caucasian in us somewhere but that right there just reiterates african-american's hate for their own hair.

That's good that some of you get good compliments. Me on the other hand, don't Laughing

I went to work and someone asked me when I would straighten my hair. I told them whenever they take that weave out of theirs...( now that I think about it..I've never seen their real hair!)

It just came right out..and when I told my co-workers I was going natural, everyone told me to keep my hair straight, but she was the main one with the negative attitude. Rolling Eyes

Telling me that I shouldn't go natural because I didn't care about my hair. She had it coming! lol!

a couple months ago i got my first compliment outside of my family Smile

I was waiting at the bus terminal to go to school and this guy(i didn't see his face) came in back of me(it wasn't too close i would of freaked if it was) and he said he loved my hair.It was kinda awkward cause i was thinking who? the hell said that and i turned around,i only saw a little bit of his back because he disappeared into a crowd of other commuters but it definitely made my day even though it was like this 15 second compliment.
