Art of the Pole Empty Art of the Pole

Post by ytiznatural 10th December 2009, 9:44 pm

I dont know if many of u heard of Art of Pole. I have a pole inside my home. There has been a stigma on pole dancing for years, but it is actually a form of exercise, if you do research and see a few youtube videos on pole dancing, you will see that it requires strength and endurance to hold yourself on the pole. Its great workout and i love it. THe winter months have gotten me lazy but I love my pole. I get inspired by going to this website www.studioveena.com. I have a few vids on this site, but nothing special. Ladies tell me what you think about the art of pole dancing

Ok now w8tng2bnatural- In the words of Martin- You GO GIRL!!!! I want to take the class. They have several workshops here that seem pretty interesting. My sister was going and she lost alot of weight and got good definition in her arms and legs!

My cousin actually had a pole dance get together for her birthday (@ an actual fitness studio), but you are right it IS a wonderful workout. We learned a lap dance routine that let me know I was out of shape, but it's fun, exciting, and good for your body!!! Really!

pole dancing is so much fun! but its so much harder than it looks...you are talented! i lived in d.c. and pole dancing was all the rage at one point. they would have the pole dancing classes but also the floor exercises too. I have been meaning to get back into it here in LA but I haven't found a place cheap enough lol. And I still live in an apartment so I won't be getting one of my own any time soon...

lifting your own weight is always the best exercise anyway!

I have a Xpole which was $300 the best poles to get is an XPole,Lil Mynx, and Platinum Stages. The Peekaboo, Carmen Electra are not good also the Flirty Girl Pole is not a good investment, Kendra Wilkinson also has a good brand which is sort of like the XPole. The website www.studioveena.com sells the XPole she at one point had free shipping, but I think shipping is like $20
Hope this helps, i know u will love to have one at home
