I had terrible itching and I started using carol's daughter Lisa's Hair Elixir and it works great! It's kinda pricey, but a little goes a long way. I have used it as a hot oil treatment and a massage oil before I do a twist out or braid out. The first few times I used it, it made my scalp tingle but now I don't get that feeling anymore, guess my scalp is use to it. But I just put a small amount on my finger tips and massage it through my hair sort of like I'm putting in shampoo or conditioner. I have been using it for a few months now and my itching is basically non existent now. I generally don't use it on a daily basis because it does have a strong smell and it is very oily (I know it's an oil but it lingers around on my hands and forehead if you use too much). HTH

I'm going to try the castor oil. I use it for my edges, anyway. I'll just extend it further and use it for the rest of my scalp. Thanks Tiff

@ Tasha, what's the oil's name?
@ Tiff, I will definitely buy castor oil and do weekly scalp massages, with it.

@ Tasha, sorry, I read things too fast sometimes lol. Carol's Daughter seems great, I will definitely look into it. Thanks.
