North Florida Hair Gathering

I'm really interested in having a hair gathering (natural & relaxed) in North Florida but I really don't know where to begin. I see so many beautiful women with natural hair and just want to provide an opportunity to get together to share stories, products, knowledge and encouragement. I’m thinking about this spring in a city’s park (free. I think.) I don’t want to exclude anyone who would be willing to attend but I’m thinking this would be perfect for people in North Florida, South Georgia and South East Alabama. It would be great to get fifty to a hundred people to attend. If you have any suggestions on where to start, let me know.

hey there!! u can post a curly meet up in the 'curly meet up thread'. since there is a florida thread, maybe u can also start a thread that says 'north florida, etc' and also post in the florida thread. i have found that u can also find a natural hair community nearest you by searching on meetup.com
