FLaky lips!

I have flaky lips! I always keep them moisturized and rub off the flake, and then it comes back. A week ago I tried a salt scrub. Anyone have any ideas to get rid of this?!

Try honey and sugar scrub, that works for me. Also work on it from the inside out, increase your water intake.

My lips get like that especially in the winter time.
Once I went to Canada and it was really cold & windy. I licked my lips here and there because they were dry but it chapped my lips so bad that they and the area around my mouth was red, raw, peeling, and really painful.

I used 'Lip Medex'. This stuff: Blistex Lip Medex and it healed up in a week. Plain vaseline and lip balms didn't help. I still keep a jar of this stuff around when my lips start getting bad. Warning - it smells like camphor and kinda minty. It's weird. But it works well.

Oh, I also use vaseline over night and then rub my lips with a warm, wet washcloth in the morning. But I don't do it every single day or my lips would be raw.

heh..i drink tons of water. I use a lip balm called EOS. its made with:

Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil*, Beeswax (Cire D'abeille)*, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil*, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil*, Natural Flavor, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter)*, Stevia Rebaudiana Leaf/Stem Extract*, Tocopherol, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil*, Vaccinium Angustifolium (Blueberry) Fruit Extract*, Fragaria Vesca (Strawberry) Fruit

I love it. When you put it on, it lasts a long time, and it isnt greasy. I will put it on before i sleep, and some will still be there when i wake. but when it dries, it doesnt make ur lips feel dry.

My lips tend to get a little dry & flaky too something that my friends told me that helps is whenever your brushing your teeth, lightly brush over your lips then put on chapstick or whatever you might use. Another thing is whenever your washing your face lightly brush over your lips & do the same thing after. Hopes this help

i had some seriously gross flaky lips imo. what worked for me was plain ole shea butter. u can also mix up a lil castor oil in the shea butter. use at least twice a day and u will see a difference within a week. also, i am a fan of lip scrubs to help slough off the dead skin and get the nutrients of shea butter or whatever ur lips like better distributed. the lip scrub that am using is olive oil ans epson salt.

thats all i have been using since winter started is shea butter I hate being different..lol..stupid lips
