okay I don't put much value into hair typing but I've seen my hair in so many different states (texturized, natural with tons of product, long hair short hair etc.) and i'm not exactly sure what my natural hair looks like anymore.. so I was wondering what hair type would ya'll give me? I think I'm most def 4a but it might be something else because I generally never defined my hair much when I was natural.

no products; air dried

texturized hair with no products

natural hair with gel

Let me know! thanks Smile

your hair looks to be about the same texture as mine when curly and productless. but i dont really know my hair texture either.

awh well if it looks like mine I would say that it's in the 4ish category... I'm not the best judge though. I'm curious to know if hair texture changes because since I've been doing weekly deep conditioning treatments, my hair has gotten a tad bit looser. Have you seen that at all?

Hey. I think I am a 4a. I don't actually deep condition much. I've noticed that my curls are looser if I just co-wash them but if I shampoo them or use a tangle teezer on them, they get really tight.

you guys look 3c to me because your hair is rather loose and wavey.

in your third pic your hair is really loose that section may even be 3b with the rest 3c. CN is 3c and your hair is looser than hers.

Yeah, I would have said 3c looking at the third pic especially. I can't really see much in the first pic and I ignored the second.

@ Love Zaporiah the tangle teaser tightens my curls too! but its worth its weight in gold and i love it sooooo much!

@ Naturally chelsea maybe you're right. I'm not sure though. Even though I've pretty much been natural my whole life I'm starting to forget what my hair looks like! UGGGHHH I want my natural hair back :/

@ Peachtree Thank you! I love both you and your daughters hair!!! How did you get it to grow so long?!

@ Joe Somebody Yeah, I only included the second to kind of show a gauge of what my hair looks like now to then. The pics still kinda look in the 4 category to me though. Maybe 3c/4a?
