Black Owners Empty Black Owners

Post by KurlyQT 15th January 2011, 3:05 am

Needing to start a hair regiment, I began reading the forum for recommended product lines, for example, Jane Carter, Miss Jessie and Shea Moisture. As I was thinking about running out to Target, I thought about the little people. Instead of spending $10 or $19 on a bottle on a commercialized product why not help out an up and coming product line. If you ladies live on youtube as much as I do, you know there are women making and selling their very own products. Why not give them a try, yea I know the convenience of running to Target or a beauty supply store is definitely a good argument. What if you had your own product line wouldn't you want us to buy it??? I have tried Blackonyx's Shea Moisture and I love it to death, next I want to try Prettydimple's moisturizer.

So my question to you ladies, have you tried an up and coming product line made by an black entrepreneur and if so what is your review of the products?

I think DonnaMac's products are really good. She's also known as the Makeup Virgin on YT. Her Juicy Creamy Styling gel is wonderful! It's full of great ingredients and gives the hair a nice hold and shine. I'm also currently using her Herbal Infusion oils on my hairline to promote growth. I've only been using it for about two weeks, but hopefully it will work for me. I've used her Hair and Body butter in the past. It has a nice, smooth texture and you can get it in a variety of scents. I also have her Deep Conditioner, but haven't used it yet. Her shipping and customer service are top notch! I highly recommend her.

Darcy's Botanicals is great stuff. Love it all.

I also like Sister Smith's Curl Pudding. I haven't tried anything else by her. Delivery was fast. Price was cheap and I liked the product very much.

Peace, Love and Sunshine natural hair products. I tried her Coconut confidence and fell in love. It's whipped shea but its mousy and not oily. Also, I got it with the vanilla fantasy scent and it smells heavenly.
