Do you cut your sideburns off?

After my bc, I would get mine edged up, but now I just let them be and I think they're fine even though they are thick as heck! lol

I have mutton chops too. lol I just let them be, though.

i don't have any, and don't see anything wrong with burnies. i've seen some chics that slick them upward, back into the hairline to blend in. but this chic that works at a store that i frequent rocks her's proudly....... uses gel to slick them down and designs them into a finger-wave pattern, which elongates them to the edge of her jaw line. her face is hairy in general. sooo yeeeah, i guess she just makes the best of what she has to work with. having said that, do you girl

I've always had them and used to cut them at one time when I was relaxed but since they always grow right back I've just left them alone.

I have long ones almost like Ashanti's lmao but i brush them upwards so it doesn't look bad and i have hair on the back of my neck smh

I grew up with very hairy Puerto Rican relatives who always cut their side burns but I don't really do it anymore since my hair kinda hangs in my face and covers them.

@creolebeauty1 I'm with you on the back of the neck hairs. My mom used to trim them with tiny scissors.

This. I used to let them be but I remember looking in the mirror one day and realizing that I was starting to look like the black female verison of Elvis(well not quite but you get the point). Of course it had been a long time since I cut them but now I make sure to keep an eye on things .

That is too funny! A friend once called me Elvis in high school because of my side burns lol

I leave my whole hairline be, I think my natural hairline is more feminine. I used to get annoyed when stylists would grab the clippers and edge my neck or sideburns without asking first. That being said I don't think my sideburns are very prominent, so if they were maybe I would feel differently.
