I always think the books are sooo much better than the movies so I opted to read this book. It was a story of ethics, love and sacrifice all wrapped in one. Most def a goooood read!

Oh I read that book awhile ago it was wonderful!!! You should check out some of her other books, all of them are about ethics, love, and sacrifice. If you like this I'm positive you will enjoy the others. Some of the others I've read was Perfect Match, Nineteen Minutes, The Pact, Salem Falls, Plain Truth, The Tenth Circle.
Yes she is a very good read!!!

i loved this book too! i never saw the movie because I didn't want to ruin my thoughts of it lol. are you on goodreads.com??? I use it to remember what books I want to read next, but you can rate books and add friends and such to share book lists too...good stuff!

I think I read this book around the same time I read A Prayer for Owen Meany by Wally Lamb and The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey (can't recall her last name at the moment) and they were all very HEAVY reads...I was semi-sad for like 3 weeks! lol But they were all GREAT BOOKS that I couldn't put down.

The book is SO much better. They changed the movie so much. Loved the book, the movie was just not the same, so I didn't enjoy it that much.

I checked out the audiobook at my local library last month and it was a good listen. That mother was a piece of work. Was I the only sap that cried in the end???;0)

I read that about 4 years ago and the ending really had me crying. I did not see that coming. They really changed the movie up.

It was a good book.
