Needs help with styling

Ok ladies, I am at a lost as to what styles I can do with my hair. I watch Youtube videos on styles for twa's (if I still qualify for that) and other styles. I have found some that I like but I either my hair is too short or it just does'nt look right on my hair. Ever since I BC'ed, I've always done wash and go's which I am starting to get tired of, and I get single strand knots quite a lot and I know that the wash and go's are the cause.

I dont like to be in my hair a lot because I've noticed that my hair grows when it is left alone, but I find that when I co-wash frequently, my hair stays softer and more moisturized. Ive kept my hair in braids which my hair likes because it has a chance to grow and I can do quick styles, but my hair sticks out of the braids so it does not look natural at all! *le sigh* I am confused guys help me out! I am thinking of just braiding it and put on a wig! like the dreamgirl wig by Janet Collection

Hello,

Have you tired 2 strand twist before or do flat twist for a cute twist out. If i 2 stand twist my hair it can easily last me 2 weeks if i keep my hands off it. but by covering at night and applying vatika oil in the morning it lasts. Your hair is long enough for twist and you can also try finger coils but they don't last as long.

Oh, your hair is beautiful. It's a little longer than mine. I do a lot of two strand twists. Check my CSJ and you can see some pics. You can leave them in and it helps control the SSKs and it will keep you out of your hair. Hope this helps!

I have to perfect my two strand twist cuz they look a hot mess! would I have to re-twist them at night? I am on the look out for vatika oil though, I heard its great.

I leave my twist in for a week or two then take them out. If you want to do twist outs then you will have to retwist at least every other day. Vatika oil is generally sold in Indian Stores.
